The Poetry Foundation has launced a new blog online journal. Elegant. The latest dispatch on the site is courtesy of the speedy Olena Kalytiak Davis. Also, a good piece on the MLA convention. All in all, looks promising.
"The Getty bought the circa-1470 copy of Geoffrey Chaucer’s 'The Canterbury Tales,' printed by British publisher William Caxton, for a remarkable $7,565,396, achieving a new record for a printed book. The book was one of only nine surviving copies, eight of which are already in prestigious institutional collections."
Websites are a must have for any self-respecting historical-thriller. The Last Templar and The Last Cato both exist in the wary lineage of the Chirst-blood-novel.

Yeah, they don't seem to want to call it a blog because blogging is sooooo beneath them. Cough cough. But Olena's entries have been magnificent.
